Grinding wheel definition:

The grinding wheel refers to a circularly-consolidated grinding tool with a through-hole in the center made of abrasive and binder resin. Grinding wheel application:

Grinding wheels of different materials can be used in different applications, as follows:

1. Brown corundum grinding wheel:The brown corundum has high hardness and high toughness, and is suitable for grinding metals with high tensile strength, such as carbon steel, alloy steel, malleable cast iron, hard bronze, etc. The abrasive has good grinding performance and wide adaptability, and is often used for cutting. Large amount of rough grinding, cheap, can be widely used.

2. White corundum grinding wheel:The hardness of white corundum is slightly higher than that of brown corundum. The toughness of the drawing wheel is lower than that of brown corundum. When grinding, the abrasive grains are easily broken. Therefore, the grinding heat is small, and it is suitable for the manufacture of fine-hardened steel, high carbon steel and high-speed steel. And the grinding wheel for grinding thin-walled parts is more expensive than brown corundum.

3. Black silicon carbide grinding wheel:Black silicon carbide is brittle and sharp, and its hardness is higher than that of white corundum. It is suitable for grinding materials with low mechanical strength, such as cast iron, brass, aluminum and refractory materials.

4. Green silicon carbide grinding wheel:The hardness of green silicon carbide is higher than that of black silicon carbide. It has sharp abrasive grains and good thermal conductivity. It is suitable for grinding hard and brittle materials such as hard alloys, optical glass and ceramics.

5, chrome corundum grinding wheel:Suitable for grinding tools, measuring tools, instruments, threads and other workpieces with high surface quality requirements.
